Jolly Rogers – a dive with hot wings and cold beer – and that is just what you got there – nothing more, nothing less! But this must have been the best hot wings ever – probably because they were FRIED lol and they were seriously awesome! So if you are ever in the Dominical/Uvita area of Costa Rica, Jolly Rogers in Escalares is ON YOUR ITINERARY! We had Garlic/Honey (medium), Basil/parmesan (mild – and the best), Honey/BBQ (pretty good) and Troubadour (pretty awesome – medium). The mediums put your MOUTH ON FIRE – and you seriously could have operated in my mouth afterwards LOL

The only downside – and I say this with all due respect – the service is SUPER SLOW – slower than slow – you will be amazed that it is possible to fry chicken this slow LOL but it was all worth it in the end – we were laughing so hard when we left three hours after we got there and all we ordered were four orders of chicken wings and a couple of beers and sodas ;)
